New types of sustainable mobility are increasingly proliferating in our cities, helping to achieve cleaner places to live, with less noise and lower CO2 levels.
But with the rapid increase in the number of electric scooters and bicycles, many users have found themselves with doubts about how to make their journeys safer. With these concerns in mind and in order to ensure the safety of the users, Alicante is one of the first Spanish cities, along with Valencia or Benidorm, to regulate the use of helmets to ride on electric scooters.
This is an initiative that aims to anticipate the regulation announced by the Dirección General de Tráfico (DGT), Spain’s public department that controls traffic, with its own regulation on the circulation of electric scooters and other vehicles for personal mobility (VMP).
The reality is that most people are only going to wear helmets if it’s easy or mandatory, and from Closca we are aware of this reality, that’s why we designed our Closca Helmet and Closca Helmet Loop to be so beautiful and comfortable that you would like to wear it.
